pleased to suggest alterations to your itinerary during your trip to satisfy your personal interests and requests. Flexible Private touring allows you to take advantage of chance encounters and serendipitous moments, so you can follow new interests as your knowledge of a destination grows and develops. Unlike a group tour, there is no fixed agenda: the guide is yours exclusively and the suggested itinerary can be altered as you wish.

Govt. Opinion & Comments Do check www.cdc.gov or with the WHO website for further details

SUGGESTIONS

No specific vaccinations are required to enter India unless you are enter-ing within six days of having visited a yellow fever infected area. However most doctors recommend the following

vaccinations:

The majority of visitors to India return home with perfect health having had no problems at all. The most common complaint is a stomach upset for a day or two usually the result of a change of diet, different beer, or simply the change of lifestyle, most case are rarely serious and recovery is swift. Dust can be a problem to travelers who wear contact lenses. If you are taking prescribed medicines, split your supplies between your hand baggage and your main baggage. Make a list of the generic properties of the drug and keep with you. If you require any special medication, we advise taking along an ample supply. If you are prone to coughs, colds and sore throats, we advise you to take preventive medicines with you as larger cities suffer from smog pollution. This is particularly important if you suffer from bronchial complaints.

COSTS

PRICES & ARRANGEMENTS

Quoted program prices include planning, handling and operational charges, and are based on current rate of exchange, tariffs and taxes. Tour quotations are usually in USD (US$), GBP (£). One can pay us by their local currency too (if the arrangement is payment on arrival by cash) but at all times the exchange rate charged will beas per the US$ conversion sinceour contracts and prices are based on US Dollar. They include planning, handling and operational charges, and are based on the current rate of exchange and tariffs. These are subject to change depending on international currency fluctuation, fuel surcharges, and/or inflation by the time one confirms the tour. However once a tour price is finalized and tour is confirmed there is no change in price whatever be the reason. Note that even for Non Resident Indian Tourists we always quote in foreign currencies as our special rates and tariffs are in foreign currency. We are under no obligation to give breakdown costs involved in any program. For a group, modification of program content to accommodate a smaller group size will not affect published program price.

DEPOSITS/BOOKING

For all tours there is a minimum deposit of 30% of the total tour value (it is calculated on the basis of hotels used, flights reserved, train tickets blocked, etc.and depends on the type of tour booked and at the discretion of the company) at the time of booking and the balance is payable 40 days prior to the first day of the tour.

PAYMENTS

A) All payments are to be Swift Transfers Or Master /Visa /American Express Card payments (refer payment methods document for the formats for each method) and all payments after arrival in India (if any) could be also by cash and Travelers’ Cheques in addition to the methods mentioned above excepting bank transfer. We do not accept bank drafts and personal cheques. B) We do not charge any service fee for accepting credit cards.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

All cancellations should always be sent by email and kindly also fax a copy of the letter to avoid any date disputes later. Cancelling the tour anytime within 30 days prior to commencement of the tour will result in forfeiture of 100% of the tour price excluding airfare. Cancellation at any other time before that time period would attract a minimum charge of 300 US$ per person or 30% of the tour value whichever is higher. Incase of luxury train tours and cruises, package airfares, etc. the cancellation policy of the Railway Authorities or concerned departments / companies / airlines will apply.

You also confirm that in the case of no deposit being made for a con-firmed tour and/or balance not paid before 30 days of the tour com-mencement (for whatever reasons like the special arrangement could be credit card guarantee, etc.) that gets cancelled, the above will still apply and you would send us the Cancellation charges on good trust or the credit card guarantee will be charged. Note that once a tour is cancelled if there is any credit towards the booker's (Read “client”) account then the same is refunded as soon as possible but always within the same financial year (April to March). Changes in Tour Plan: India is a vast, diverse and intense country. At times there are situations where flights and trains get cancelled / delayed/ rescheduled due to bad weather and or other problems like local unrest, strikes, natural calamities.Etc.

Under such conditions we always try to advice on the best route possible and we even consult you. It is to be noted that though we try our best but we do not commit any refunds what so ever for unutilized services due to unforeseeable reasons like this. If for whatever reasons the guest (read client) changes the tour plan while on the tour no refunds or adjustments are possible in most cases. Yes, we do try our best in these cases also and most of the cases if we have not paid for the services already do adjust the same too but in lot of cases this becomes impossible – so please bear with us. At the same time if because of any of the reasons mentioned above we need to buy fresh air tickets and book hotels or make any arrangements the same will be charged as applicable and payable by the traveler. If by any chance the traveler changes the tour plan while traveling then we would be charging for all new services and hotels as per the changed plan. We will try to adjust the pre-paid part being changed with the new part but again we do not commit the same since most of the services will be pre paid for to the suppliers like the hotels, transporter, guide, etc.
