After breakfast depart for an HD tour. Enjoy a scenic drive past the popular beaches of Rio to the foothills of the Tijuca National Forest. From Cosme Velho, a traditional neighborhood in the Southern part of Rio, join the cogwheel train that makes the steep climb to the summit of Corcovado Mountain, through the Atlantic rainforest. The view of Rio from CorcovadoMountain is world famous, providing a panoramic view of Rio`s mountains, rainforest, coastline and the unique natural composition that is considered a UNESCO World Heritage site. The peak of the Corcovado Mountain is more than 700 meters (2,300 feet) above sea level and crowned by the 30 meter (100 foot) high statue of Christ the Redeemer. Just beneath the statue sits a chapel in honor of the Lady of Aparecida, patron Saint of Brazil. Your tour then continues through the forest. We will drive by the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world. During this tour you will visit the Tijuca Atlantic Forest, stopping at the Chinese View Belvedere, which features a magnificent view of Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, the Guanabara Bay and the Sugar Loaf Mountain.

After breakfast leave with your tour conductor todowntown Rio and enjoy a walking tour in Rio’s historic center with your private guide and transportation for a unique view in the City’s history. During the walk pass by many interesting points, such as the São Bento Monastery, Candelária Church, Praça XV, Imperial Palace, the cultural center located in the beautifully restored Banco do Brasil, the Casa França-Brasil and Gonçalves Dias Street with the traditional Confeitaria Colombo restaurant. Your tour then continues in Santa Teresa district. The neighborhood is located on Morro do Desterro (Exile Hill), which during the 18th Century served as a convent. The hill is in the heart of the city and as been well maintained to preserve aspects of Old Rio where artists and bohemians flock for its architectural and cultural charm. Old fashioned cable cars maneuver the narrow streets and are considered one of the city’s historical heritages. After stop for lunch in place of preference, visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain. To reach the Sugar Loaf peak, ride a cable car to the top of Urca Hill to the gardens and lookout points over the Guanabara Bay, where you can appreciate Rio’s unique landscape. Afterwards, take a second cable to the Sugar Loaf peak, nearly 400 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level. The views of the beaches, the Bay, hills and harbour are breathtaking from this vantage point. From here you will stop for lunch and watch the beautiful Rio sunset.

After breakfast leave for the airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu. On arrival check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.Enjoy exclusive access to this magnificentevening and dawn sights, when the park is closed for others.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided walking tour of the Brazilian Falls and a visit to the beautiful Bird’s Park. We will take a descending trail of the canyon, from where we can enjoy panoramic views of more than 240 falls. We will board a glass elevator, which takes us to a platform where more exquisite views will berevealed. Along with its “sister” park in Argentina, The Iguaçu National Park forms the most significant remaining rainforest in the southern cone of South America, which along with the waterfalls have been declared a National Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Backstage Experience is an exclusive opportunity to have a look inside of the parks work during a one and a half hour tour. Gain access to restricted areas and have privileged contact with selected birds, including feeding of toucans and other species, as well as the opportunity to learn more about the conservation and rescue programs at Parque das Aves.

After breakfast at the hotel leave for a full day to the Argentinian Falls National Park. Departure from the Hotel, Cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge with its lovely view of the Iguassu Canyon heading towards the Iguaçu National Park in Argentina. At the entrance, a small train takes visitors on a tour through the park, making 2 stops: upper and lower circuit. Follow the walkways to the top of the waterfalls that provide spectacularly unique views of the ‘Cataratas’, amidst the abundant nature filled with orchids, colorful birds and other wildlife. The highlight of the trip is a visit to the suspended platform at the very brink of the Devil’s Throat – largest of the waterfalls. A fond farewell as you depart Foz do Iguaçu and Brazil. Tonight, enjoy a special dinner at a Chef´s House. You will have a unique andmemorable experience! The former chef of the Belmond is the star of this journey on Brazilian culinary history. This 6-course meal is an introduction to the heritage of the, Africans and Europeans that forged Brazil’s flavors in 500 years. Throughout the night, the chef will explain the origins of the ingredients and tell curiosities about our culinary past.
