Welcome to Ushuaia City Often referred to as ‘the end of the world’, Ushuaia was once a penal colony but these days, it’s a busy port and the capital of Tierra del Fuego, the largest island in South America. Christened in 1520 by ernando de Magallanes, it was given its name for the fires lit onshore by the Onas native inhabitants, who arrived some 10,000 years ago when it was still connected to the mainland. Ushuaia and its surrounding area are now something of a Patagonian paradise with so much to offer visitors - including amazing wildlife, a rich history , treks and walks where you get up close and personal with beavers and unique birds native to these forests, challenging trips for hikers and climbers and the opportunity to hit the slopes depending on the season. Discover the Ushuaia City, in a half day sightseeing visiting the End of the World Museum. Ushuaia, capital city of Tierra del Fuego Channel and surrounded by the Martial Hills. This city offers a unique landscape in Argentina due to its combination of mountains, sea, glaciers, and forests. Your tour begins at the pier, before driving along Maipu Avenue towards La Misión neighborhood, an area established by the area’s first white men more than 100 years ago. Also see other neighborhoods such as Brown and Solier, areas where the first inhabitants built their houses at the start of the 20th century. See houses that belonged to the first families of Tierra del Fuego, such as the Beban, Pastoriza, and Ramos families. Also pass by Provincial City Hall and the former Government House. Discover the contrast sand evelopments produced by the arrival of new inhabitants in the 1980s. Drive back to the city to visit the End of the World Museum, an institution aimed to preserve the natural and historical heritage of Tierra del Fuego.

After breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy your today in a full day tour to Harberton with Penguin Roockery and a visit to Gable Island. Away from crowded areas and in the middle of the Beagle Channel, this place is recommended by word-of-mouth. Gable Island offers untouched nature and history in the present tense. During this full-day excursion, go for a ride, cross the channel by motor boat, walk and discover. On route to Gable Island, see penguins in their habitat. This variety of nature of Tierra del Fuego.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport for flight to El Calafate. On arrival check in at the hotel. Welcome to El Calafate! A charming village on the banks of Lake Argentino. Named after a Patagonian bush, according to legend, whoever eats its berries always returns to Patagonia. Picturesque streets are surrounded by beautiful trees and colorful gardens that make this village an oasis in the middle of the barren Patagonian landscape. El Calafate is the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park an area of lakes, mountains and glaciers with astounding scenery that is best seen from one of the various boat tour options available. Perito Moreno Glacier is the area’s main attraction, a series of walkways and balconies allow easy access to one of the few remaining advancing glaciers in the world, currently grinding its way down the Andes range into a branch of the enormous Lake Argentino. The more daring may enjoy a trekking experience over its millenarian ice field.
Overnight in El Calafate.
After breakfast at the hotel. Glaciar Sur Pioneers is an option thought for those seeking exclusive experiences or a different glance at landmarks. It is a Patagonian gaze of the National Park Los Glaciares, which runs from the steppe to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Drive through the old route of Patagonian ranches until reaching the National Park access through ‘Roca Lake’ A low-decidious beech forest announces the arrival to Nibepo Aike ranch. Visit the installations and enjoy the rural environment until lunch, a typical barbeque at Glaciar Sur’s table. After lunch embark on ‘Hautal’, a cabined rubber boat equipped with heating system, with a holding capacity of 15 people, depart from the ‘Pioneers’ Quay’ to navigate the Southern and Rico Canals. Panoramic views of Adriana and Moreno Hills and of Magallanes Peninsula will accompany the circuit until disembarking on De las Monedas Beach. Enjoy a pleasant walk through the forest is started on this beach to meet the immensity of Perito Moreno Glacier seen from ‘Glaciar Sur’ viewpoint. The navigation continues its itinerary to the southern front of Perito Moreno Glacier until reaching ‘Bajo las Sombras’ Port, where a vehicle awaits to get to the traditional catwalks, having 2 hours to walk through them. In the afternoon, the sunlight gives unique colors to the glacier views. Only 15 people out of the 2.000 visitors that daily enter the National Park will be able to live this magic experience.

Guarded by majestic mountains and Lake Nahuel Huapi, Bariloche stands proudly as the gateway to the stunning Lake District. This city has strong ties to central Europe as many families immigrated from Germany, Switzerland and Northern Italy over the past century. Their influence is easily found in the local culture and, of course, in the mountain-style architecture. Bariloche is one of Argentina’s most exciting resorts, it offers mountain resort activities and every season is distinctively charming. Summer is best for outdoors and sports such as trout fishing, horseback riding, rafting, trekking and hiking. Enjoy lazy days at the lake at river beaches or more vigorous mountain climbing. In winter, Cerro Catedral is visited by increasing numbers of winter sports enthusiasts every year; it is the largest and most developed ski resort in South America with 600 hectares of snow. Following a transfer, explore Patagonia’s best-kept secret spots. Walk for about 40 minutes on even terrain, a lowintensity activity, your guide interpreting the sounds of the forest, such as the thrilling sound of the chucao (chucao) or the regular pecking of a woodpecker while enjoying a yerba mate (tea) tasting. Transfer back to your hotel.
Overnight in Bariloche.
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the full-day trek up Cerro Bellavista (beautiful hill) is the ideal way to get close to local alpine fauna and flora, such as the large Patagonian woodpecker and amancay wildflowers, while enjoying some spectacular views. Drive up to the start point at 850 meters above sea level (2,600 feet) for an introductory talk before starting off at a slow pace to warm up. The adventure kicks off walking through the woods, following a trail surrounded by thick vegetation. A gentle slope leads you to the first lookout (about 50 minutes); from there, continue ascending until you reach the second part of the trail surrounded by tall lenga (lenga beech) trees (about 40 minutes). When crossing the tree line (1,600 meters above sea level, ,800 feet) vegetation yields the center stage to fresh air and panoramic views (about 30 minutes). After a three-hour walk, reach the pre-summit where views do justice to the name of this hill, offering postcard-like pictures. Lunch time here encompasses a hearty picada (charcuterie) prepared in the mountain. Relax here, absorbing peace and beauty. The return along the same trail takes about 2.5 hours. Difficulty level is medium, the minimum age is 12 years old, and it requires a good fitness level. Wear trekking shoes, synthetic warm clothing, a small backpack for personal belongings such as sunglasses, hat, gloves, and sunscreen.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a full-day tour to discover VictoriaIsland, a universe of natural attractions. Board a boat across Lake Nahuel Huapi’s crystal clear waters to the island. Centennial cypresses and coigues (bamboo) woodland and native and exotic fauna are found at every turn. At 10.00, a private transfer takes you to the pier (30 minutes from downtown/five minutes from Llao Llao Hotel) where you board to cross the cold waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi up to the millenary island in 45 minutes. Walk woodland trails for two hours to see varied flora and fauna and learn about its history. Trails are easy and with quiet and a little luck, you might spot some deer or pheasant. Lunch is an elaborate meal and while resting, enjoy the artistic moment that provides a cultural evening immersed in nature. Another part of the island is discovered on the way to Puerto Pampa before embarking for the 30-minute navigation back to Puerto Pañuelo. Return to your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport for flight to Buenos Aires and then Puerto Iguazu. On arrival at Puerto Iguazu check in at the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Welcome to the Iguazu Falls! Puerto Iguazú is a quiet town located at the confluence of the Iguazú and Parana rivers. The mighty Iguassu Falls, recently declared one of the New Seven Wonders are one of the most impressive sights in the world, with a breath-taking 275 cascades spread across a gulf of nearly 3 km (two miles). Taller than Niagara Falls and twice as wide, Iguazú has 275 cascades spread across 3 km (two miles) along the path of the River Iguazú, on the border between Brazil and Argentina. Viewpoints from both sides offer different perspectives of this unique lively and colorful spectacle.
Overnight in Iguazu.
After breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full-day visit to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls National Park. This side of park was created in 1934 and covers around 123,5000 acres (50,000 hectares), offering unique contact with nature as you get within a few steps from the thundering cascades. Feel the proximity of the falls and observe its beautiful vegetation, birds and butterflies, walking along the footbridges and roads. Waterproof clothing is necessary, since there is a small price to pay for getting within such close range of the falls! Arriving at the Visitors Center, access the Nature Interpretation Center of Iguazu National Park, which also provides cultural, educational and social activities. This is the starting point for the amazing Devil’s Gorge tour. Departing from Cataratas Station, the train takes you to Garganta Station in 18 minutes. The stroll along the catwalks is 1.2km (one mile) across the delta islands, leading to the main balcony located next to the most spectacular fall, the Devil’s Gorge. Time required: two hours. Difficulty: low, no stairs. Upper Trail: a 2km-walk (1.5 miles) offering magnificent view of the falls from the Upper Iguazu River. Time required: 1.15 hrs. Difficulty: low, no stairs. Lower Trail: a 1.6km-walk (1.2 miles) provides a view from below and around the falls. Time required: two hours. Difficulty: moderate, with stairs. After this, head off for the Great Adventure (seat in Bus, shearing with other passengers): climb aboard for an exciting truck ride through eight km (five miles) of riverside jungle following the Yacaratiá trail to Port Macuco. Here, embark a motorboat that navigates up the Lower Iguazú River, going through rapids to approach the falls at Garganta del Diablo canyon in the heart of the falls. A very wet ride is guaranteed, but so is a memorable experience. Important note: You will get wet. There are 100 meters (300 feet) of stairs. The ride is restricted for pregnant women and people with physical or medical problems. This is a shared program.
